Software Modernization Program – Financial Transactions System

OBJECTIVE
The objective of this engagement was to assist a national real estate company to replace its legacy system which processes real estate financial transactions. Over 15 years old, it served as the 'core' system for many components of the company's business operations but no longer adequately met the organization’s technical standards and business needs. The system was not paperless, many processes required extensive paperwork and manual workflow approvals that needed to be completed by the users.

GOALS
• Develop a modern, easy to maintain application available across device forms.
• Provide users with an application designed to diminish manual efforts going into current business processes.
• Provide tools such as dashboards, enhanced reporting, and notifications which will allow users to more efficiently conduct day to day business.
• Streamline A/R collection processes making it easier for offices to identify and collect the A/R due to the company.
• Refresh and update the application user interface to provide a better user experience, reflect the company's brand, and highlight the fact the company is always seeking to adopt new technologies and keep pace with the times in this digital age.
