Software Modernization Program – Financial Transactions System
Objective
Modernize the company's over 15-year-old core financial transaction system to meet current technical standards and business needs while integrating four newly acquired regional systems into a streamlined, paperless process.
Approach
1. Conduct research to identify pain points, wants, and needs and identify current inefficiencies.
2. Map and validate the end-to-end transaction journey, identifying everyone involved and their respective roles.
3. Develop a modern, easily maintainable application that enhances user experience across all devices by streamlining processes such as A/R collection and integrating tools like dashboards, enhanced reporting, and notifications.
4. Reduce manual efforts in business processes, update the user interface to reflect the company's brand, and position the company as a technology leader in the digital age.
5. Scope includes gathering requirements and user research, establishing KPIs, designing the information architecture and wireframes, creating high-level screen mockups, and applying branding guidelines.

*One person may perform multiple roles.
Program Navigator, Digital Strategist, UX Researcher, Interaction Designer, Visual Designer, Client, and Client Partners.
Tasks:
Research, ideate, and design proof of concept (POC) and draft minimum viable product (MVP).
Development & Delivery Team:
Application Developers, Data Architects, System Integrators, Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
